EXTRA CREDIT!

Would you like a few extra points for writing?

Today, October 20, 2011 is the National Day on Writing. Although it's not being celebrated here in the kingdom, it doesn't mean we can't celebrate.  Many of you mentioned that you like writing.  So, let's "hear" why you like writing.  You can post a comment here or you can join the conversation on twitter using the hashtag #whyiwrite.  I'll be monitoring twitter throughout the day and hope to read your tweets or comments here.

Can't wait to see why it is you write.

  3. Is very interesting when you know that writing is a language you can speak with everyone about your feelings .For me, I like writing because I can express my feelings. I started write my first book is called
"The best thing happened in my life".
But I stopped writing for a while and then I will continue that remains. Because the writing is very enjoyable. I hope to be a writer and a famous person .

  7. I write because writing is mainly helping me to improve my language, vocabulary and grammar skills. I used to write short fictional stories to my little sister, with comics but that was a long time ago, will start doing that again. Also to express how I feel, especially when I'm writing a message to someone (some people aren't good at showing how they feel they express it in words and unfortunately I'm one of them).
I enjoy free writing more than anything else. And finally, to get away from technology. To me, using a pen is different than typing on the keyboard.

  8. @Maha Hopefully you will become a famous writer one day. The more you write, the better you'll get.

@Najla I agree with you. Whenever I had trouble expressing myself out loud, I'd write.
